In case you are unable to view the LoanBeam tab please ensure the following:
Check the COM Add-ins
Click on File > Options for MS Office 2010.
Click on File > Excel Options for MS Office 2007.
The Excel options window will be displayed. Go to Add-ins and in the drop down for "Manage" select the option "COM-Add Ins' and click on "Go".
In the COM-Add-ins window check the box next to LoanBeam Add-ins and click on OK.
The LoanBeam will load at Startup and the LoanBeam tab can be viewed in the Excel Spreadsheet.
In case you are still unable to view the LoanBeam tab please ensure the following:
Check the Ribbon
This feature is not available in Excel 2007
Right click on any Menu button in the Excel Spreadsheet and choose the option, 'Customize the Ribbon'.
The Excel Options will be displayed. Check the box next to 'LoanBeam' in the Main Tabs window and click on OK.
The LoanBeam tab will now be seen in the Excel spreadsheet.
Sometimes the Excel spreadsheet may unexpectedly close down due to some error. As a consequence Excel may auto disable some of the Add-Ins. The LoanBeam tab might not be visible in such a case. To re-enable LoanBeam Add-In please ensure the following:
Check Disabled Items
Click on File > Options
The Excel options window will be displayed. Go to Add-Ins, and in the drop down for "Manage" select the option "Disabled Items" and click on "Go".
In the Disabled items window click on LoanBeam Add-Ins and click Enable.
The LoanBeam tab can now be seen in the Excel spreadsheet.
Check the Registry Entry
If still you are unable to view the LoanBeam add-in tab in Excel make sure that there is a registry entry created for the LoanBeam add-ins. You can check for the LoanBeam Add-ins registry entry from the Registry Editor.
The registry entry for LoanBeam add-in might not be created if your machine does have the "Local Administrator" rights. Seek the local administrator rights for your machine from your administrative support and try installing LoanBeam add-in again.
